A New Approach to ESL Instruction
Research confirms that students, in general--and ESL students, in particular--respond best to instruction that addresses different learning modalities and is relevant to the students' lives. English w/ Sound & Light leverages both of these important teaching considerations by offering teachers and students high-intrest, student-centered videos to assist with English-language acquisition.
Each week, a new video will focus on a different grammar concept. The five-minute video will contain several examples of the grammar concept being applied in a real-world context. Our hope is that students will find viewing videos that feature their peers delivering examples of proper grammar and sentence structure engaging.
